A Perfect Fit Pleated Roof and Venetians in a Conservatory
August 6, 2008 by admin
This fit was done in a conservatory in Crowthorne, Berkshire. The blinds in the roof of the conservatory are perfect fit roof blinds and the fabric is Madrid SPC Cornsilk.
On the sides we fitted standard venetian blinds. This was done in preference to perfect fit venetian blinds because our customer wanted to have fewer blinds to operate. The venetians are 25mm slat in a cream to match the roof.
All the roof blinds move and are controlled with a twist lock wand.
The controls on the venetians are standard tilt rod to tilt the slats and pull cords to raise and lower the blinds.
Note:
The venetians were fitted to a spacer rail that we installed. This means that the blinds do not hit the window handles when operated. The spacer rail is hidden behind the blinds and is very discreet. It just gives a better fit.
